The Met Gala was gay as hell.
Connor Storrie hit Monday's carpet in a Saint Laurent polka-dotted halter and Hudson Williams arrived in a 1947-matador-inspired Balenciaga with exposed chest — anchoring a queerer-than-usual front row at fashion's biggest night. |

Today is Trans+ History Day.
May 6 marks the anniversary of the 1933 Nazi raid on Berlin's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft — the world's first transgender clinic — destroyed in the first Nazi book burning. San Antonio just became the first US city to officially proclaim Trans+ History Week. |

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is "better than the original".
Meryl, Anne, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt reunited for the May 1 sequel — fans flooded socials calling it the rare follow-up that surpasses the first, and it pulled $233M globally in opening weekend. |

DC Black Pride turns 35.
The world's original Black Pride returns May 21–25 with a "New Black Renaissance" theme, Durand Bernarr headlining, and five days of programming centered on Black LGBTQ+ artists, healers, and organizers. |

VISIT PUERTO VALLARTA
OUR CITY OF THE WEEK
|
Puerto Vallarta is the gay capital of Mexico — one of the densest gayborhoods in the Americas, packed into a few sun-drenched blocks of the Romantic Zone (Zona Romántica). Start your night with a cocktail at La Cantina, drift over to Mr. Flamingo or La Noche for a few more, and no night in PV is complete without a stop at Industry and walking out of Paco's Ranch as the sun comes up — after full-production drag shows and the kind of warm chaos that makes new friends to pair with old ones.
A few blocks down, the gay beach is lined with options: Blue Chairs Resort owns the sand with beachfront service and a sunset rooftop, Mantamar Beach Club is where the daytime pool-party energy lives, and Casa Cupula sits up the hill with drag shows, a clothing-optional pool, and the best view of the bay.
