Our Commitment to Fair Use At Out x Out, we're committed to respecting the rights of content creators while bringing you beautiful imagery from around the world. We are a small business that uses publicly available content wherever possible - at this stage at least. Some day we hope to travel the world and take gorgeous images of every single location on our app. Until then, we are thankful to the creators who have helped contribute to our vision. This page details the sources of the images we use and their respective licenses. Image Sources & Attributions WIKIMEDIA COMMONS Images from Wikimedia Commons are used under their respective licenses, which may include: - Creative Commons (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0) - Public Domain - GNU Free Documentation License PEXELS Images from Pexels are used under the Pexels License, which grants free use for commercial and non-commercial purposes with no attribution required. However, as a matter of respect and transparency, we still provide attribution where possible. UNSPLASH Images from Unsplash are used under the Unsplash License, which allows for free use in commercial and non-commercial projects without requiring permission or attribution. We strive to credit photographers nonetheless. Additional Sources We occasionally use images from other sources with appropriate licensing, including: PIXABAY (Pixabay License) Free-to-use stock photography with appropriate licensing Original photography from our community (per our terms & services license agreements or by their explicit consent) How We Display Attribution Depending on where images appear in our app: Featured destination images - Venue Images when available on venue pages and city pages (e.g. venue scroller) - Social Media and Advertising (when available) - Other (please reach out for details on specific image usage) Report Attribution Issues If you believe we've incorrectly attributed an image or are using content without proper licensing, please contact us a info@outxout.com.
