16th Street Promenade (Downtown)
16th Street, Broadway to Arapahoe St, Denver, CO 80202Denver PrideFest 2026 takes over the 16th Street Promenade from Broadway to Arapahoe on Sunday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., bringing the largest Pride celebration in the Rocky Mountain region into the heart of downtown Denver. This is a historic year. With the longtime home at Civic Center Park under renovation, The Center on Colfax moved PrideFest to the downtown pedestrian corridor and condensed it into one high-energy day, putting the festival steps from the parade finish and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and LGBTQ+ owned businesses. The festival is free and built around four entertainment zones spread along the promenade. The main Center Stage hosts drag, burlesque, ballroom, live musicians, and the headline acts, while a dedicated dance zone keeps DJs and go-go dancers going all day and a Latin stage celebrates Denver's Latinx LGBTQ+ community. There is a welcoming family area with storytime, games, and crafts, plus more than 250 exhibitors, a section spotlighting LGBTQ+ organizations and vendors, and over 30 food and drink vendors lining the route. A few local tips. Get there right at 10 a.m. for the shortest lines and the best spot near your favorite stage. The free MallRide shuttle runs the length of 16th Street and drops you right at the festival, and light rail stops at 16th and California and 16th and Stout put you on the promenade. Bring a refillable water bottle, because Denver's mile-high sun is no joke, and pack a light rain layer for the quick afternoon storms that pass through most summer afternoons. Admission is free and all ages, so come ready to celebrate downtown.
