Denver, ColoradoDenver Pride Weekend 2026 takes over the Mile High City June 26 through 28, capping a full month of LGBTQ+ celebration with the Vizzy Denver Pride Parade and Denver PrideFest plus a packed weekend of parties, brunches, and dance floors across Capitol Hill and downtown. This is the big one, and 2026 marks the most significant change in decades. With Civic Center Park under renovation, PrideFest moves to the 16th Street Promenade in the heart of downtown while the parade marches through Capitol Hill, Denver's historic gayborhood. More than 500,000 people turn out across Pride Month, making Denver one of the ten largest Prides in the country. The weekend kicks off Friday with the PlayHaus opening party at the Fillmore and Tracks Pride at the legendary Walnut Street nightclub. Saturday brings the Denver Pride 5K and Bubbles and Boas drag brunch at Cheesman Park, the PlayHaus dance party at the Junkyard, and Bearracuda at Summit Music Hall. Then Sunday is the main event, with the parade stepping off at 9:30 a.m. on 17th Avenue and PrideFest running 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 16th Street, just one block from the parade finish. A few local tips from your Denver friends. Skip the car, because street closures around 17th Avenue and 16th Street start early. Take RTD light rail or the free MallRide shuttle straight to PrideFest. Denver sits at 5,280 feet, so the sun is intense even on a mild day. Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat, and pack a light layer for the afternoon thunderstorms that roll through most summer days. Then go celebrate the Mile High City at its proudest.
