Denver Zoo
2300 Steele St, Denver, CO 80205Denver Zoo Pride Prom 2026 turns the Denver Zoo into a 21-and-over Pride party on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., one of the most playful and unexpected ways to open Denver's Pride season. Part of the zoo's popular Adult Night series, this Pride edition pairs after-hours access to the animals with drag hosts, music, dancing, and a rainbow-soaked prom theme built for the grown-ups. With the daytime crowds gone, you get the run of the grounds at golden hour, wandering past the lions, elephants, and primates with a drink in hand while DJs and drag performers keep the party going. Dress in your best prom-night look, gather your chosen family, and enjoy a refreshingly different kind of Pride night that trades the bar scene for flamingos and string lights. It is equally great for a date, a friend group, or anyone who wants their Pride with a side of wildlife. A few local tips. The Denver Zoo sits at 2300 Steele Street in City Park, an easy rideshare from Capitol Hill or a ride on the RTD bus lines that serve the park. Tickets run around $35, the event is 21 and over so bring a valid photo ID, and these adult nights regularly sell out, so book in advance. Wear comfortable shoes for all the walking and a layer for the cool evening once the sun drops. Landing early in the month, Denver Zoo Pride Prom is a fun, low-key kickoff before the bigger parties and the parade weekend take over the Mile High City.
