When is Denver Pride?

The Denver Pride Parade and PrideFest are the centerpieces of Colorado's LGBTQ+ calendar, produced by The Center on Colfax and drawing roughly half a million people each year. Denver Pride is held on the last full weekend of June — in 2027, expected to be June 26-27.

PrideFest

PrideFest is traditionally a two-day festival (Saturday and Sunday) with hundreds of exhibitors, dozens of food and beverage vendors, and live entertainment on multiple stages. Its longtime home is Civic Center Park; the 2026 edition temporarily moved to the 16th Street promenade during park construction, so confirm the current location on denverpride.org before you go.

Parade

The Pride Parade steps off Sunday morning around 9:30 AM and is the highlight of the weekend. The exact route is set each year — recent years have run through the Capitol Hill / Civic Center area — so check the official map closer to the date.

Pride Weekend Events

  • Denver Pride 5K — the Saturday of Pride weekend, at Cheesman Park
  • Sapphic Collective events — roving sapphic dance parties and gatherings throughout Pride season (follow @sapphiccollectivee for the lineup)

Pride Month

Throughout June, venues across Capitol Hill and beyond host Pride-themed programming — drag shows, dance parties, art exhibitions, and community fundraisers. Check our Denver events page for the latest listings.
