Out x Out News covers gay culture, entertainment, and community news for the same readers who use Out x Out to find gay bars, events, and travel across the U.S. We write for our community, with a point of view — the goal of every story is to add context, a gay lens, or a connection to the scenes and cities we already cover in depth.

Who we are

Out x Out News is published by Out x Out, the LGBTQ+ travel and social discovery platform behind outxout.com and the Out x Out mobile app. Every story carries a real, named byline — you can see each author's bio and story archive on their author page.

How we work

We use software, including AI tools, to help monitor LGBTQ+ news sources and assist with research and drafting. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked against its cited sources, and edited by a human editor before it publishes — nothing goes live without a person approving it. We credit and link the outlets that first reported a story within the article itself, newsroom-style, and we never republish another outlet's text.

If we got something wrong, we want to fix it. Email info@outxout.com with the story link and what needs correcting. Material updates are reflected in the story's “Updated” date.
