Eustace, Texas
Clothing-optional men's naturist campground and lodge on 100 acres southeast of Dallas; gay-welcome, not gay-branded
Circle J is a clothing-optional campground exclusively for adult men on 100 acres outside Eustace in Henderson County, about 70 miles southeast of Dallas, serving the public since 2005. It is geared to naturists and nudists, and its calendar cites 21 years of service to the Texas gay community; its own description of the guests is young, old, straight, gay, married, single or otherwise, and it states plainly that it is not a sex club. Guests must be 21. Some areas are designated clothing required. The camping season opens March 1 and the calendar runs through a New Year's party. On the campground side there are primitive and electric tent sites, 30-amp and 50-amp RV sites, three private cabins and four private rooms; the lodge adds three more rooms and a pool. Posted rates are $30 for a primitive tent site and $35 with electric, $35 to $50 for RV sites, $95 to $110 for a cabin, $100 to $110 for the bedrooms and $120 to $160 for the suites and Le Wood Shed, with weekends at the higher figure. Day trips are $20 per person from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week, with $10 added for an overnight. The grounds have a two-acre spring-fed pond with a sun deck, canoes and a paddle boat, a 1,500-square-foot lodge deck, a swimming pool, a media and gaming lounge, a pool room and bar and the Circle J Cafe on weekends and event dates. The 2026 calendar ran an anniversary party in March, equinox and moon weekends, the big holiday weekends, Halloween, a chili cook-off and a New Year's Eve party. Pets are allowed if kept under control around other guests and the ranch's livestock.
