Ottawa maker gift shop with pride goods and craft workshops, est. 2021
Motif is a curated gift shop on Wellington West carrying products from 40-plus Ottawa-area makers and artisans. The shelves run from jewelry and stationery to bath products, home goods, and pride-themed accessories — all locally sourced and handpicked by owner Amy. The shop sits in the Hintonburg stretch of Wellington, a walkable strip of independent restaurants and boutiques west of downtown. In 2025, Motif added in-store craft workshops, turning it into more of a community gathering spot. It stocks work from queer artists and makers alongside its broader selection.
