New York City, New York
Choreographer-founded dance-fitness studio at the Nolita/SoHo border.
Forward__Space is a dance-fitness studio on Spring Street at the Nolita/SoHo border, founded by choreographer Kristin Sudeikis. Classes run 50 minutes and range from FORWARD (continuous cardio dance with choreography) to FIRE (weighted dance intervals) and FORMS (contemporary technique). No dance experience is required for most classes. The studio runs dark-room, high-energy sessions that draw from club and concert culture. It's a body-positive space with a creative, mixed crowd — a natural fit for anyone who'd rather dance than do another treadmill session.
