New York City, New York
Multi-level Hell's Kitchen dance club with nightly drag and DJs
HUSH HK took over the multi-level West 52nd Street space that for years was Therapy, one of Hell's Kitchen's best-known gay bars, and reopened it as a two-story drag and dance club, a little more risqué than its predecessor and staffed in part by the old Therapy crew. A main stage anchors the nightly drag performances, with an LED-lit room and a dance floor upstairs for when the shows wrap. It runs Tuesday through Sunday, 21-and-over, with a daily happy hour and a packed weekend lineup of drag and DJ nights. The crowd is a Hell's Kitchen mix of locals and visitors there for the shows, and the layout lets you pick your night: front-row for the queens or upstairs for the dance floor. Closed Mondays.
