Play Dance Bar is Nashville's largest LGBTQ+ nightclub and the anchor of the Church Street gay district, where it's been since 2004. The draw is one of the city's biggest dance floors and the Play Mates, a resident drag cast that performs Wednesday through Sunday with multiple shows a night; touring RuPaul's Drag Race names roll through regularly. It runs as an 18-and-up room, which makes it a rare late-night option for the younger end of the crowd.
