Part of the Gay Norwalk Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Norwalk, Connecticut
Norwalk's gay bar and home to CT's longest-running weekly drag show.
Troupe429 is the only gay-owned bar in Fairfield County, set in a former pottery building on Wall Street in Norwalk — roughly midway between New York City and New Haven, which makes it the gay anchor for a stretch of Connecticut that otherwise has little. Since opening in 2017 it's built a reputation as an arts-and-nightlife venue, with a cabaret stage, a disco-ball dance floor, and a long craft-cocktail list set among vintage decor. Friday nights belong to 'Sienna Says,' Connecticut's longest-running weekly drag show, hosted by Sienna Rose. The rest of the week fills in with karaoke, trivia, burlesque, and a monthly drag brunch, plus packed RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties. For anyone in lower Fairfield County it's the destination rather than one option among many — worth the trip from Stamford or Bridgeport for a real queer night out.
