BANG! Pride Techno Party 2026 kicks off Portland Pride week with a dark-room dance floor at Holocene on Thursday, July 16, with doors at 9 p.m. Officially billed as BANG!: Queer Techno Transmission, this LGBTQ+ helmed night brings driving techno and community to one of Portland's best electronic-music venues on the inner east side. The lineup features Sappho, Bro Hoe, and Philadelphia's kraftwitch, delivering a serious, club-forward sound for dancers who want substance over spectacle. Holocene is a beloved, no-frills warehouse-style space known for its sound system and its long history of championing LGBTQ+ and underground nightlife, which makes it the perfect launchpad for a week of Pride. Expect a friendly, music-first crowd and a room built for moving until late. Tickets run from free entry up to around $13 in advance, an affordable way to start the weekend, and they are worth grabbing early since Pride-week nights fill up. The party is 21 and over, so bring a valid photo ID. Holocene sits at 1001 SE Morrison Street, a short hop across the river from downtown, reachable on TriMet bus lines and an easy rideshare from the central east side. Wear something comfortable for a long night on the floor, hydrate, and line up a safe way home. If your idea of Pride leans toward a proper underground dance party rather than a glitter-soaked spectacle, BANG! is the Thursday-night opener that sets the tone for Portland Pride 2026.
