Bossanova Ballroom
722 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97214Bearracuda Double Pride 2026 brings the long-running, body-positive dance party to Portland for Pride weekend on Friday, July 17, at the Bossanova Ballroom on the inner east side. Bearracuda is one of the most beloved names in bear and men's nightlife nationwide, and its Portland Pride stop turns Bossanova into a sweaty, friendly, all-are-welcome dance floor where the bears, cubs, and their admirers lead the celebration. Expect big-room DJs spinning house, pop, and party anthems, a packed floor, go-go energy, and the unpretentious, come-as-you-are vibe Bearracuda is known for. It is a 21-and-over night that draws a warm, diverse crowd well beyond the bear community, making it one of the most fun ways to kick off Portland Pride before the festival weekend fully takes off. The Bossanova Ballroom is a classic Portland dance hall with a great sound system and plenty of room to move. Tickets are sold in advance and this one has sold out in past years, so lock yours in early rather than chancing the door. Bossanova sits at 722 E Burnside Street, a quick trip across the river from downtown and walkable from inner-east bars, with TriMet bus service along Burnside and rideshare easy to grab. Entry is 21 and over, so bring a valid ID. Wear something you can dance in, hydrate, and plan a safe ride home. If you like your Pride kickoff loud, friendly, and full of personality, Bearracuda Double Pride is the Friday-night launch to Portland Pride 2026.
