The Chicagoland Candlelight Vigil opens Chicago's Pride season on a reflective note Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at AIDS Garden Chicago on the lakefront. Held in front of the Keith Haring "Self-Portrait" sculpture near Belmont Harbor, this annual gathering remembers those lost to HIV/AIDS and honors the activists and caregivers whose work shaped the LGBTQ+ community we celebrate all month long.
