North Park Blocks / Old Town
NW Park Ave & NW Davis St, Portland, OR 97209The Portland Pride Parade 2026 is the centerpiece of Pride weekend, stepping off Sunday, July 19, at 11 a.m. from the North Park Blocks in downtown Portland. As the largest parade in Oregon, it draws tens of thousands of spectators and hundreds of marching contingents for a joyful procession through the heart of the city under the 2026 theme, Made with Pride. The roughly one-mile route launches near NW Park Avenue and Davis Street, heads east through Old Town and Chinatown, then turns south along Naito Parkway, finishing at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park festival around SW Harvey Milk Street. Expect floats, marching bands, dance teams, drag performers, community groups, and local businesses, with block-party energy spilling across downtown. At parade pace the walk takes about 20 to 30 minutes, so the celebration rolls through the morning and straight into the festival. A few essentials from your local friends: claim a curb spot along Naito Parkway or in Old Town by mid-morning for the best view, and absolutely take transit — the MAX light rail and Portland Streetcar both stop steps from the route, and driving downtown on Pride Sunday means road closures and no parking. Watching is free, so bring water, sunscreen, and a little cash for the festival afterward. Comfortable shoes help if you plan to follow the parade down to the river. This is Portland at its loudest and proudest, and the single best place to feel the whole city show up for Pride 2026.
