North & South Straub Park
Bayshore Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701St Pete Pride Festival 2026 anchors the celebration on the downtown waterfront, spreading across North and South Straub Park along Bayshore Dr NE on Saturday, June 27. It runs from 2 PM to 10 PM, with waterfront activity in the parks carrying on until roughly 11 PM, and it is free and open to everyone. With Tampa Bay shimmering behind the stages, this is the heart of Florida's largest Pride, and the "Here Comes the Sun" theme feels right at home here. Expect entertainment stages stacked with live music, DJs, and drag, plus 100-plus vendor booths, community and LGBTQ+ resource tables, food trucks, and a beer garden. The real advantage of the festival grounds is location. The Trans March steps off at 5:15 PM and the Pride Parade follows at 6 PM, both passing right alongside, so you can claim one good spot and catch all three without ever fighting the crowds. It makes for an easy, full afternoon and evening in one place. Getting here is the easy part. The SunRunner BRT and PSTA buses run free during Pride, there is a free Park & Ride at St. Pete High School, and Tropicana Field opens free parking after 6 PM, so skip the downtown garage hunt and ride in. Local tip: June afternoons in St. Pete climb near 90 degrees and the sky loves a quick, dramatic thunderstorm, so pack sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and a compact umbrella. Grab a shady patch near the seawall early. The bay breeze is the best free amenity at this whole festival.
