Bayshore Drive (Albert Whitted Park to Vinoy Park)
480 Bayshore Dr SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701The St Pete Pride Parade 2026 lights up the downtown waterfront on Saturday, June 27, 2026, stepping off at 6 PM from Albert Whitted Park (480 Bayshore Dr SE, near Al Lang Stadium) in St. Petersburg. From there it rolls north along Bayshore Drive through downtown and finishes at Vinoy Park (701 Bayshore Dr NE), running roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. As Florida's largest Pride, this is the centerpiece, with 100-plus contingents of community orgs, drag performers, floats, marching groups, and local businesses. It is free, and it is the kind of evening parade that turns the whole bay into a party. Where you stand shapes your night. Straub Park is the move if you want to pair the parade with the festival, so arrive by 2 PM to claim a spot. For the most photogenic angle, post up along Bayshore Drive facing the water, where floats glow against the bay at sunset. Want elbow room? Head near Vinoy Park, where the parade ends and crowds thin out earlier. Skip the parking stress and ride the SunRunner or PSTA buses, both free during Pride. Bayshore Drive from Albert Whitted north to 5th Ave NE closes around 1 PM for staging and fully reopens near 11 PM, and the St. Pete Pier closes to vehicles from 4 to 9 PM. Local tip: late June in St. Pete still bakes near 90 with high humidity and a real shot at a quick afternoon thunderstorm, so pack sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, a hat, and a compact rain layer, then settle in for the sunset spectacle.
