Meow Wolf Denver: Convergence Station
1338 1st Street, Denver, CO 80204THAO, formerly of Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, brings her full band and the Show Me Tour to the Perplexiplex at Meow Wolf Denver. Show Me is her first album in six years and her first as THAO, released on her old label home Kill Rock Stars. It's an 11-song record about embodiment, vulnerability and love (and, in her label's words, it "can also be pretty sexy"). It was made with Nate Brenner and Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards, with guest spots from Neko Case, the Linda Lindas and Adrian Quesada of Black Pumas. Expect big grooves, hooky melodies and the kind of kinetic live set she's known for. $1 from every ticket goes to The Ally Coalition, which supports LGBTQ+ youth and families. Good to know: doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. All ages (under 16 need a ticketed guardian). Tickets start at $31 at tickets.meowwolf.com. Exhibit entry to Convergence Station is a separate ticket.
