Hennepin Avenue / Loring Park
Hennepin Ave & 3rd St, Minneapolis, MN 55401The Twin Cities Pride Parade 2026 rolls through downtown Minneapolis on Sunday, June 28, 2026, stepping off at 11am sharp from 3rd Street and Hennepin Avenue. You'll watch it run about a mile and a half south down Hennepin, ending at Spruce Place right at the entrance to Loring Park, so when the last float passes you can walk straight into the festival without missing a beat. This is Minnesota's largest parade of any kind, drawing well over 200,000 spectators. It was long known as the Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade, named for the transgender activist who directed it from 1993 and built it into the giant it is today, making it one of the very few US Pride parades ever named for a trans woman. For viewing, Hennepin near 9th Street gives you good sightlines with thinner crowds. The Saloon at 830 Hennepin, the only gay bar on the route, opens its doors at 8am, and Union Rooftop offers elevated views above the action. There's also a free Accessibility Grandstand and a ticketed VIP Grandstand if you want a reserved seat. Skip driving entirely. Metro Transit runs free that day, so hop the Blue or Green Line to Nicollet Mall and walk a couple blocks over. The parade itself is free to watch and all-ages, though The Saloon stays 21+. One local tip: the sidewalk spots near The Saloon fill up by 10am, so claim yours early if you want that prime stretch. Find the full route map and lineup at tcpride.org/parade.
