Loring Park & Downtown Minneapolis
Loring Park, 1382 Willow St, Minneapolis, MN 55403Twin Cities Pride Weekend 2026 takes over Minneapolis from Friday June 26 through Sunday June 28, one of the largest free Pride celebrations in the country and a magnet for more than 475,000 people. The heart of it is the free two-day Festival at Loring Park, running Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm, packed with vendors, food, performances, and community booths. Friday eases you in with Youth Night at the park from 5 to 8pm and the ticketed Pride Beer Dabbler over at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden at 6pm. Sunday is the big one, the Twin Cities Pride Parade rolls down Hennepin Avenue at 11am, and early risers can run the Rainbow Run 5K at 9am. A bit of local pride worth knowing, the parade was long known as the Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade, named for a beloved trans activist. When the sun goes down, the action moves to the Hennepin Avenue gay-bar cluster, The Saloon, Gay 90s, and Brass Rail, plus LUSH up in Northeast Minneapolis. Do yourself a favor and skip the car, parking downtown is a genuine headache. Metro Transit, both the Blue and Green Line light rail and the buses, is free all weekend, so hop off at Nicollet Mall station and walk to Loring Park. One thing locals always pack, late June here averages around 80F but June is our wettest month, so bring sunscreen and a compact rain jacket both. Most events are free and all-ages, though ticketed pieces like the Beer Dabbler are adults only, check tcpride.org as details firm up closer to the date.
