When is Provincetown Pride?
Provincetown Pride, curated by the Provincetown Business Guild, is held the first weekend of June (Thursday-Sunday) each year.
The Weekend
The centerpiece is Sashay to Tea — a Pride rally at Town Hall followed by a colorful procession down Commercial Street into P-town's legendary afternoon Tea Dance (Saturday). The weekend also brings T Dances, a Pride Market, a queer comedy showcase, a flag-raising at the Pilgrim Monument, and a Pride 5K.
Provincetown Carnival (August)
P-town's biggest week by far is Carnival in mid-August — a themed costume extravaganza with a massive parade down Commercial Street that draws tens of thousands. If you want the wildest week on the Cape, that's the one.
Plan Ahead
