Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
OKC drag and dance club on the NW 39th Street Strip
Angles is the dance club on Oklahoma City's NW 39th Street strip — the stretch that doubles as the city's gay district. It's built for moving: a large main dance floor, an upper balcony overlooking it, multiple bars, and a serious light-and-sound setup that leans heavily on dance music rather than lounge sets. The crowd is mixed and skews younger, and weekends are when it fills — it pulls people of all ages and backgrounds, not just the neighborhood regulars. Thursdays run as a house-music night with DJ-spun dance sets, weekends bring DJ Darren and the main dance parties, and drag pageants, fundraisers, and theme parties land throughout the calendar. Of the clustered 39th Street bars, Angles is the one to choose when you actually want to dance; pair it with neighbors like The Boom and Tramps for a full crawl of the strip.
