Part of the Gay Fargo Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Fargo, North Dakota
Moorhead music bar with Prince-symbol bathrooms and a welcoming LGBTQ+ crowd.
Located across the river in Moorhead, Harold's on Main is an auto-shop-turned-bar co-founded in 2019 by musicians from Spoon and The Get Up Kids. The interior pays homage to Minnesota legend Prince by replacing standard gender icons with Prince symbols on the restroom doors. The menu keeps it simple with cocktails, local craft beers, and Heggie's pizza, while the decor features forest green booths and wood paneling. Recognized as an LGBTQ-friendly space by local guides, Harold's hosts regular DJ nights, karaoke, and live music on its outdoor patio tiki bar.
