Memphis, Tennessee
LGBTQ+ affirming piercing-only studio, open since 2021.
Memphis did not have a piercing-only studio until Rose Quartz opened on North Watkins in October 2021 — the idea came together during the COVID-19 shutdown. Owner-piercer B Mallery built it as an affirming space for customers and staff alike, and it is one of only three piercing-exclusive studios in Tennessee. The jewelry leans fine and gemstone-heavy, and staff keep up continuing education through the Association of Professional Piercers. It has won Best Piercing Studio in the Memphis Flyer’s Best of Memphis. Piercings run by appointment through the studio’s online scheduler.
