Green Bay, Wisconsin
Lesbian-owned gay bar in Green Bay's Olde Main Street District, since 2013
The Roundabout is a lesbian-owned bar in Green Bay's Olde Main Street District, opened in 2013 by Amy Gustafson and Terri Vande Hei, who wanted it to be "an everyone, everything, anytime bar" rather than a women's-only room. More than a decade on, it's a cornerstone of the local LGBTQ+ scene, drawing a mix of queer regulars and neighborhood sports fans, never more so than on Packers game days. It's known for heavy pours and Wisconsin-style Old Fashioneds. There's no kitchen; the floor plan runs to a main bar, a covered deck, and a large smoking patio out back. The week fills with karaoke, trivia, and weekend sets from local DJs and live bands, all at a dive-bar price point with no cover. Festoon lighting and casual lounge seating keep it easygoing, the place to settle in rather than the place to be seen.
