Its biggest cruises, XOXO 2027 and the 2028 anniversary cruise, are Caribbean charters on Holland America's Eurodam with about 2,100 guests; the rest of its calendar is small luxury ships, riverboats and expedition ships. Olivia cruises in 2027

Olivia's Vol. 55 anniversary Caribbean cruise on the Eurodam (January 29 – February 5, 2028) is already on sale, from $1,299 per person plus the $499 fee, and Olivia's booking system showed only three cabins left in the cheapest category on October 23.

What an Olivia cruise is like

For the February 13–20, 2027 XOXO Caribbean cruise, Olivia lists music from Cris Williamson ("the musician who helped us launch it all"), Ruthie Foster and 76th Street; comedy from Judy Gold, Elvira Kurt, Kristin Key and Sydnee Washington; and DJs Rockaway and Olga T. The week includes pool parties, theme nights, concerts, comedy nights, an XOXO Valentines Prom, wellness and writing workshops, and singles events.

Olivia also runs programs inside each trip:

• New to Olivia: on select trips, New Olivian Coordinators host meetups, and first-timers get a pink New Olivian bracelet.
• Solos: coordinators, a Solos schedule and necklace, mixers, sunset cruises and Solos seating at meals and shows.
• OWLs: meetups for "Older, Wiser, Lesbians," which Olivia's trip pages define as 60 and over.
• Sisters: Olivia's program for Olivians of color, partners and friends included.
• Trans & Nonbinary: programming "designed by and for our trans and nonbinary community" on large cruises and resorts.

What's included, and what isn't

On the XOXO Caribbean cruise, Olivia includes the cabin, all meals including room service, Olivia's entertainment and programming, and gratuities. Every guest also pays a per-person fee Olivia calls the NDA: $499 on XOXO 2027 and the 2028 anniversary cruise. Olivia says it "covers taxes, fees, and gratuities," and it isn't included in the advertised fare.

Not included on XOXO: flights and transfers, alcohol, soft drinks, specialty coffee, bottled water, specialty restaurants, spa, internet, excursions and insurance. Smaller ships include more: Azamara includes select drinks, Avalon riverboats include wine and beer with meals, and Lindblad and Coral Expeditions include most drinks.

Going solo on Olivia

Olivia's Room Share program "can match you with a travel companion" on select trips and cabin categories. You book it by phone, and Olivia matches on preferences such as smoking. In 2027 the eligible list includes XOXO Caribbean, Norwegian Fjords, Greek Isles with Lesbos, and the Amsterdam to Switzerland and Douro riverboats (on the riverboats, a match is needed at booking).

How booking works

From Olivia's terms and FAQ:

• Deposit: a non-refundable 25% of the trip cost when you book, unless the trip says otherwise.
• Cancellation: 50% of the trip cost if you cancel 365 or more days before departure, and no refund from 364 days out.
• Changes: $75 for a name change and $50 to change a payment plan.
