14th & T Street NW (Logan Circle)
14th & T St NW, Washington, DC 20009The Capital Pride Parade 2026 steps off Saturday, June 20, at 3 p.m. from 14th and T Streets NW, marching south through Logan Circle and the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. Organized by the Capital Pride Alliance, it is the centerpiece of the city's Pride celebration and draws huge, joyful crowds for floats, marching bands, drag performers, dance troupes, and community organizations rolling down 14th Street under the theme "Exist. Resist. Have the Audacity." This year the parade lands on the third weekend of June rather than the usual second, a deliberate move to give the community its own protected space downtown during a packed summer in the capital. The route runs south from the U Street and Logan Circle area toward downtown, so the best energy is along 14th Street between T and P Streets, where the bars and crowds are thickest. Post up early near the step-off for the full spectacle, or further down the route for a little more breathing room. A few local tips. Arrive by early afternoon for prime sidewalk space, because the front rows fill fast. Driving is a headache with street closures along 14th Street, so take Metro to the U Street, Dupont Circle, or Mount Vernon Square stations and walk over. D.C. summer heat and humidity are no joke, so wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, and carry water. The parade is free to watch from anywhere along the route and welcoming to all ages, making it the perfect anchor for Pride Saturday in the nation's capital.
