Northalsted (Boystown)
N Halsted St between Addison & Grace, Chicago, IL 60613Chicago Pride Fest 2026 returns to the heart of Northalsted — the neighborhood most people still call Boystown — on June 20–21, the weekend before the parade, running both days from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Now in its 25th year, this street festival on North Halsted between Addison and Grace is one of the marquee LGBTQ+ events on the Chicago Pride 2026 calendar, packing live music, drag, food, and dancing into the city's most famous gay district. Three music stages anchor the weekend with a lineup of pop, dance, and local talent, plus the best of Chicago's drag scene, performances from the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus, and dance exhibitions. Don't miss the Proud Pet Parade on Sunday, a crowd favorite where festively dressed dogs strut for prizes, and the Youth Pride Space that creates a welcoming spot for LGBTQ+ teens. More than 150 food and merchandise vendors line the street, so come hungry and ready to shop local artisans. A $20 donation is suggested at the gates, which helps fund performers and community programming, though the festival stays open to all ages regardless of contribution. Take the CTA Red Line to Addison and walk east, or the Brown Line to Southport — driving and parking near Halsted on Pride Fest weekend is a headache best avoided. Wear comfortable shoes, hydrate between drinks, and treat Pride Fest as the joyful main-stage warm-up before the Pride Parade closes out the month.
