Chicago, IllinoisChicago Pride Weekend 2026 takes over the city June 27–28, capping a full month of LGBTQ+ celebration with the world-famous Pride Parade plus dozens of parties, festivals, and community gatherings across Boystown, Andersonville, the lakefront, and beyond. This is the big one — the last full weekend of June, when more than a million people pour onto the North Side for the 55th annual Chicago Pride Parade (Sunday at 11 a.m., stepping off at Sheridan and Broadway) and the streets of Northalsted become one nonstop block party. Saturday is just as packed. Proud to Run kicks things off at sunrise on the lakefront, the Chicago Dyke March rallies in Pilsen, Navy Pier throws a free, family-friendly Pride day, and women-centered Back Lot Bash lights up Andersonville. After dark, Horse Meat Disco takes over Metro and smartbar while the Boystown bars run into the early morning. Sunday brings the parade itself, the Chicago Urban Pride Picnic in Jackson Park, and afterparties in every direction. A few local tips: skip driving, because street closures are heavy — ride the CTA Red Line (Addison, Belmont, or Sheridan) and build in extra time. Stake out a parade spot along Broadway by mid-morning, bring water and sunscreen, and pace yourself, because Pride weekend in Chicago is a marathon, not a sprint. Whether it's your first Pride or your fifteenth, this is the weekend the whole city shows up proud.
