Downtown to Short North (High St)
Broad St & High St, Columbus, OH 43215The Columbus Pride March 2026 is the centerpiece of Pride weekend, stepping off Saturday June 20 at 10:30 a.m. from Broad and High in front of the Ohio Statehouse and heading north up High Street to Goodale Park. One of the largest Pride marches in the Midwest, it brings more than 200 contingents and crowds lining the whole downtown-to-Short North stretch under the 2026 theme Until We're All Free. The march moves north through the Convention District, under the iconic Cap at Union Station, and into the heart of the Short North Arts District, passing the rainbow archways, bars, and galleries before wrapping at the Goodale Park entrance where the festival is in full swing. With 200-plus floats, marching bands, dance troupes, drag performers, and community groups, it takes a few hours for everyone to pass any given point, so settle in and enjoy the full procession. A few essentials from your local friends: arrive by 9:30 a.m. to claim a curbside spot, because the Short North stretch fills fast. The High Street block between Russell and Goodale is the most photogenic and high-energy, while Broad and High at the start catches every contingent fresh. Skip driving, since street closures begin hours before step-off, and take a rideshare or CoGo bike to a corner a few blocks off High. Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and a portable charger for the mid-80s June heat and dense crowds. For premium shaded viewing with food and restrooms, the ticketed Pride on High runs along the route in the Short North.
