Broadway (Capitol Hill)
Broadway, Seattle, WA 98102PrideFest Capitol Hill 2026 takes over Broadway on Saturday, June 27, from noon to 8 p.m., a free street festival in the heart of Seattle's most famous LGBTQ+ neighborhood the day before the big downtown parade. Produced by Seattle PrideFest, this Capitol Hill celebration turns five blocks of Broadway into a buzzing mix of live music, drag, food, and community, drawing a huge, joyful crowd to the Pike-Pine corridor for the unofficial heart of Pride Saturday. Multiple stages anchor the day with local and regional talent, from drag and dance to live bands and DJs, while dozens of food vendors, artisan booths, community organizations, and a beer garden line the street. It is free and open to all ages, with a welcoming, neighborhood block-party feel that makes it easy to wander, snack, shop local, and run into friends. This is the Seattle PrideFest org, distinct from the downtown parade and from the separate Capitol Hill Pride march, so think of it as the Hill's own daytime celebration. Broadway runs right past Link light rail at Capitol Hill Station, so take the train and skip the parking headache entirely. The festival is free, though buying a drink in the beer garden or tipping the performers helps fund the programming. Wear comfortable shoes for a day on your feet, bring sunscreen and a layer for Seattle's shifting June weather, and pace yourself, because the bars and clubs along Pike and Pine keep the party going long after the stages wind down. PrideFest Capitol Hill is the joyful main-street warm-up before Sunday's parade.
