Pride·Los Angeles Gay Guide

When is Los Angeles Pride?

Los Angeles is one of the few cities with multiple distinct Pride celebrations run by different organizations — so check which one you mean before you go.

WeHo Pride (West Hollywood)

Produced by the City of West Hollywood, WeHo Pride takes over the first full weekend of June (Friday-Sunday) around West Hollywood Park and the Santa Monica Blvd corridor. It includes a free street fair, the Dyke March, the WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday along Santa Monica Blvd through the heart of the Rainbow District, the Women's Freedom Festival, and the ticketed OUTLOUD Music Festival.

LA Pride Parade (Hollywood)

Produced by Christopher Street West, the LA Pride Parade returns to Hollywood Blvd on the second Sunday of June — in 2027, expected to be Sunday, June 13. The parade draws 130+ contingents and is free to attend, with a companion LA Pride in the Park / OUTLOUD festival component. It airs live on ABC7. (LA Pride's first parade was June 28, 1970 — one of the first in the nation.)

DTLA Proud (Downtown)

A third, separate celebration in Downtown LA in late August, centered on Pershing Square — a festival weekend not affiliated with WeHo Pride or Christopher Street West.

Other Pride-Season Events

  • Harvey Milk Day (May 22) — kicks off the Pride season in WeHo
  • Pool parties, drag brunches, and club events run throughout early June at venues across WeHo and Silver Lake
