When is Palm Springs Pride?
Greater Palm Springs Pride 2026 takes place November 6-8, 2026 across downtown Palm Springs. The multi-day celebration includes a festival, parade, and community events drawing tens of thousands of visitors.
Pride Parade
The Palm Springs Pride Parade is on Sunday, November 8, 2026, stepping off at 10:00 a.m. The parade runs along historic Palm Canyon Drive and lasts approximately two hours. Approximately 60,000 spectators line the palm tree-lined streets to cheer floats, marching groups, local organizations, and activists.
Pride Festival
The Pride Festival takes place over the full weekend with live entertainment, DJs, vendors, food, and community booths. The festival grounds are in downtown Palm Springs with multiple stages.
Why November?
Unlike most cities that hold Pride in June, Palm Springs schedules its celebration in November to avoid the extreme desert summer heat (temperatures regularly exceed 110°F in June). November weather is ideal — sunny and in the low 80s.
Other Pride-Adjacent Events
- The Dinah (September 30 - October 5, 2026) — World's largest lesbian and queer women's festival
- Cinema Diverse (September 2026) — Palm Springs' LGBTQ+ film festival
- White Party Palm Springs (historically late April; currently on hiatus) — One of the country's largest gay circuit parties
