When is Tampa Pride?
Tampa Pride is traditionally held in March in Ybor City, centered on the Tampa Pride Diversity Parade down East 7th Avenue. For 2026, the organizers announced a one-year hiatus, citing Florida's political and funding climate — so there was no Tampa Pride parade in 2026.
Pride of Tampa 2026
A separate group filled the gap with the inaugural Pride of Tampa Festival on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at The Cuban Club in Ybor City, which drew an estimated 5,500 people — a festival of vendors, entertainment, and community booths rather than a parade. Organizers hope to grow it in future years.
St Pete Pride — The Metro's Biggest
The single largest LGBTQ+ celebration in the Tampa Bay metro is St Pete Pride, held across the bay each June and drawing 250,000+ people — one of the biggest Prides in the Southeast. The 2026 weekend runs June 26–28 (parade Saturday, June 27). From Tampa it's an easy 25-minute drive, and many locals attend both.
