Members-only, clothing-optional men's campground in southeast Missouri with cabins, cafe and heated pool
Camp Dawgwoodz is a private, membership men's-only campground and resort in Bollinger County in southeast Missouri, about 100 miles south of St. Louis between Marble Hill and Fredericktown. It describes itself as a clothing-optional retreat for men 21 and over, and it is under new ownership, Scott and Ken, as of the 2026 season. Clothing is optional within the campground, with shorts required when service personnel are on site, and a no-sex zone runs from the game room through the hot tub. Seasonal membership is $25 per person with photo ID. Lodging is the King Cabin, the Lil Cabin and The Den, a cluster of three or four units sharing a covered deck, plus electric camping, non-electric camping and an RV area. Posted nightly rates before tax, with a two-night minimum, are $85 for the King Cabin, $75 for the Lil Cabin, $55 to $70 for The Den, $35 per person for electric camping and $25 per person for non-electric or RV camping, with event-weekend pricing higher. Day passes are $20, or $30 on event and holiday weekends, and end at 6 PM. The camp has an on-site cafe, a renovated shower facility, a heated salt-water pool, a large hot tub, a fire pit, a game room with pool and darts, and more than a mile of trails and roads. Weekends on the calendar include Glowz, Pride, Fire & Flannel, Bears in the Woodz, leather events and a Halloween end-of-season party. Leashed dogs are welcome; no cats, no pit bulls, and no dogs in the pool area.

We verified 32 LGBTQ+ campgrounds in the US, from 700-acre men's retreats in the Ozarks to a women-only resort in Michigan's Thumb. This guide covers every one we could verify from the campground's own website: who's welcome, what clothing optional means there, what you can sleep in, what it costs and when the season runs.
