Zipolite, Oaxaca
Gay-owned cocktail bar and boutique on Callejón del Arte
Chavela del Mar is a small gay-owned cocktail bar on Callejón del Arte, the arty lane off Avenida Roca Blanca. Raúl runs the bar, and it shares its entrance with Malora Lab, a clothing boutique designed by his husband, Carlos. Expect cocktails and the occasional DJ set: an easygoing first drink before the night moves on.
