Uptown leather bar with the Baton drag showroom inside
The Chicago Eagle is a leather and LGBTQ+ bar in Uptown that reopened over Memorial Day weekend 2026 in the former Baton Show Lounge space at 4713 N Broadway. It's a multi-level club — upstairs, downstairs, and a patio — that revives the Chicago Eagle leather-bar name while keeping drag alive in the building: the long-running Baton Showroom now runs as a room inside it. Weekend programming spans a Friday all-male revue (The Locker Room), a Saturday drag showcase (Saturday Showcase), and a Sunday drag brunch (Sundays Are a Drag), with the party running late most nights. Cover is around $10 before 10pm for full access to the club, and tables can be reserved through the venue.
