Part of the Gay Rehoboth Beach Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Rehoboth Beach's after-dark staple for drag shows and dancing on the Ave Extension.
Diego's is Rehoboth's dance club, set on the Rehoboth Avenue Extension in the space longtime locals knew as The Double L. Owners Darryl, Joe and Eddie took it over in 2018 and rebuilt the room around a large dance floor with upgraded lighting and sound. Through the summer season it runs drag and cabaret from a rotating cast of performers, with names like Magnolia Applebottom, Kim Kuzma and Joe Pasa's Joan Rivers turning up on the bill, plus DJ-driven dance parties. The outdoor area is where Diego's sets itself apart: a classic happy hour and the Summer T-dance pull a crowd before the night moves inside, and there's free on-site parking, no small thing in a beach town. A little removed from the Baltimore Avenue bar cluster, it's the place you go when you actually want to dance, and it pairs well with a night that starts downtown and ends here.
