Independent bookstore on Commercial Street's quieter East End, run by owner Jeff Peters. The shelves carry new releases, a deep LGBTQ+ section, local Cape Cod authors, vinyl records, and curated magazines — a combination you won't find at most indie shops. East End Books hosts roughly 100 author events per season, some held on the beach directly behind the store. Names like Tony Kushner have appeared on the schedule.
