Beachfront hotel and restaurant where the gay crowd gathers
El Alquimista is a beachfront hotel with a yoga studio and a spa at the west end of Zipolite, and its restaurant, with tables right on the sand, is one of the town's favourite places to eat. It isn't a gay hotel, and the hotel itself isn't clothing-optional, but the beach in front of it is one of Zipolite's main gay gathering spots, with day beds and drinks. The restaurant is open to non-guests.
