About FOB Kitchen

FOB Kitchen is a queer-woman-of-color-owned Filipino restaurant on Telegraph Ave in Oakland's Temescal neighborhood. Chef-owner Janice Dulce built the menu from her family's recipes — sinigang, adobo, and the house-famous slow-roasted ribs with coffee, coconut beer, and banana ketchup. The restaurant holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and has been recognized by the SF Chronicle and StarChefs. The space is small and intentional — open kitchen, warm lighting, full bar — designed for the kind of communal eating Dulce grew up with in her Filipino family. A second location opened in West Oakland's Prescott Marketplace.
