Gay fetish cruise bar in Le Marais with dress code since 1999
Full Metal is a gay fetish and cruising bar in Le Marais, on Rue des Blancs-Manteaux a short walk from Rambuteau. It opened in 1999 in a space that had been the club Equivox, and marked 25 years in 2024, putting it among the Marais's longer-running fetish addresses. A dress code sets the tone: leather, rubber, skinhead, sportswear, uniform, jeans, underwear, or nothing at all. The roughly 150-square-meter space includes two backrooms with private cabins and a sling. Programming changes by night, with Wednesday given over to a leather dress code and rotating themed parties through the rest of the week. The crowd skews toward men who come dressed for the code rather than dropping in casually, and the room runs late, from the early evening into the small hours and later still on weekends. It's the kind of place to anchor a fetish night in the Marais, before or after the neighborhood's bars.
