Orlando, Florida
Gay-owned Venezuelan cafe and brunch spot beside Lake Eola
I Love Orlando Cafe is a gay-owned restaurant on East Washington Street in downtown Orlando, across from Lake Eola. Owners Joseph Aintabi and Carlos Croes — a gay couple and Venezuelan immigrants — opened the cafe during Pride Month 2024. The menu covers breakfast, brunch, lunch, pizzas, salads, and desserts, with a full coffee program and beer, wine, and canned cocktails into the evening. The cafe is a member of Orlando's Pride Chamber of Commerce and sits in the same downtown corridor as Come Out With Pride, the city's primary annual LGBTQ+ event. Open daily, with weekend hours extending to 9 PM.
