Part of the Gay Paris Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Paris, Paris
Paris's only erotic bookshop and independent publisher, in the 11th
Paris's only erotic bookstore and an independent publishing house, operating from the 11th arrondissement since 1995. La Musardine carries a curated selection of erotic fiction, comics, practical guides, essays, and films. Their best-known line is the Osez series — pocket-sized how-to guides covering sexuality that have been in print for decades. In 2023, La Musardine launched Prismes, a dedicated LGBTQ+ erotica collection publishing four titles per year across gay, lesbian, trans, and bi perspectives — filling a genuine gap in French-language publishing. Founded by Claude Bard after leaving Hachette, the shop became an employee-owned cooperative in 2021 when Bard retired. Open Tuesday through Saturday.
