Paris, Paris
Gay men's fetish and SM shop in Oberkampf, open since 1999.
New Millenium is a gay men's fetish and adult shop on Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud in the 11th arrondissement. It's a few streets north of Rue Oberkampf in a neighborhood known more for its bohemian bar scene than the Marais's concentrated gay village — but the shop has long been a fixture of Paris's gay fetish circuit, a member of the SNEG & Co trade network since 2008. The inventory leans toward sex toys (they carry one of Paris's largest selections of Hankey's Toys), fetish and SM accessories, poppers, DVDs, and gay-interest merchandise. It's not primarily a leather or latex shop, despite what some guides suggest. Staff — particularly a regular named Toni — are known for being approachable and plugged into the local gay scene.
