Dallas, Texas
Station 4's storied drag showroom on Cedar Springs.
The Rose Room is the drag showroom upstairs at Station 4 on Cedar Springs, and it's been Dallas's marquee stage for gender illusion since 1986, when it ran as part of the old Village Station. The shows are full productions, with big lighting, effects, and a rotating cast of Dallas drag legends alongside touring and national guests. It's long been a launchpad as much as a stage: performers who built their names in the Rose Room have gone on to national pageant titles and RuPaul's Drag Race. For a visitor, it's the single best place in the city to see polished, theatrical drag, and it anchors a night at the largest club complex on the strip.
