Members-only upscale cruising club with private cabins in Lavapiés
The Ring is a members-only gay cruise club in Lavapiés, open since 2013 and built around roughly 500 square meters of play space rather than the pools and steam rooms of a traditional sauna. The ground floor has a bar and lockers; downstairs is the action — a maze, private booths, slings, a cage, and the boxing-ring centerpiece the place takes its name from. Fetish gear is welcome (leather, rubber, sportswear, jockstraps), with nude the standard dress code. This draws a crowd that comes to play, not to lounge, and the private-club format keeps it among men who know the rhythm of the space. Hours skew late and weekend-heavy, so it works as a destination later in the night rather than an afternoon stop. A short walk from the Lavapiés metro puts it within easy reach of the rest of central Madrid.
