Gay-owned Village pub with Friday drag shows and Saturday leather nights
T's Pub is a gay-owned pub on Somerset Street West in Ottawa's Village, one of the few dedicated LGBTQ+ bars left in the city. It opened in spring 2017 after the nearby Centretown Pub closed, filling an intimate room of around 80 seats with a serpentine bar, handcrafted wood tables, and a back lounge lined with floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Front and rear patios open up in summer. The week is programmed for a mixed queer crowd: karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays, a Friday drag show with a DJ, Saturday gear and leather nights run with the Ottawa Leather Knights, and a monthly Wednesday showcase for new drag talent. The kitchen turns out comfort food and there's no cover charge. With most of Ottawa's older gay bars long gone, T's has become the city's reliable community hub, warm on a weeknight and busiest when the leather and kink regulars take over on Saturdays.
